As Chairman of the MEETA Asset Management Society of Engineers Ireland, Thomas Murphy will open the conference and highlight his vision for the continuing evolution of MEETA Asset Management as a modern, relevant networking and peer-to-peer learning platform for reliability engineers.
Thomas is a Reliability, Asset Management, Project Management professional with a strong electrical background and 20 years’ experience across a range of industries. He has vast experience on large-scale projects with global leaders in the data centre, power generation, FMCG and bio-pharmaceutical sectors. Thomas has worked across many areas of the business, including safety, quality, engineering, maintenance and operations, with key responsibilities, including developing asset management and performance site strategy, driving continuous improvement philosophy, and providing operational leadership. He is currently working in the biologics industry.
Thomas is a time served Electrician and a former graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton Street, holding a degree in Engineering Reliability Management and PMP® certification. He is also a member of Engineers Ireland and the Project Management institute.
