In 2014, Kevin joined Eastway Reliability as CTO, leading the research and development department to develop the Eastway Safeguard® Platform, alongside a range of industrial monitoring products. The Eastway Safeguard® is the next generation of condition monitoring for industry 4.0, utilizing new technological advancements in IOT, electronics, software and web systems.

Kevin specialises in the new technologies space, bringing his practical experience as a product design engineer to exploit the potential of industry 4.0 for Eastway Reliability customers.

After achieving a City University London, MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Kevin worked in the automotive industry taking designs from concept to large scale production (2 million units per year) and has an in-depth understanding of the product development process. He has a patent for a design of an innovative thrust washer and bearing combination.
