The theory and practical application of  vibration analysis in conjunction with machine learning

In 2014, Kevin joined Eastway as CTO, leading the research and development department to develop a range of industrial monitoring products, including the  Eastway Safeguard® System – a next-generation of condition monitoring  solutions for industry 4.0, utilizing new technological advancements in IOT, electronics, software and web systems.

Kevin specialises in the new technologies space, bringing his practical experience as a product design engineer to exploit the potential of industry 4.0 for Eastway customers.  Having achieving a City University London MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Kevin worked in the automotive industry, taking designs from concept to large-scale production (2 million units per year). He has an in-depth understanding of the product development process, and he hold a patent for a design of an innovative thrust washer and bearing combination.

In his presentation, Kevin will talk about the use of vibration analysis in conjunction with machine learning for leading-edge condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
