Imaging AI from Vibration Monitoring to Lube Oil Analysis in Process Vessels

Colin Dalton is an application engineer with JM Canty. With offices in Buffalo, New York, and Dublin, Ireland, Canty is a leader in the manufacture and development of vision cameras for increased automation, improved communication, self-monitoring and the production of smart machines to analyse and diagnose issues without the need for human intervention.

Colin holds a masters in Physics from Trinity College Dublin and has 15 years of field and R&D experience in vision-based process instrumentation for a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, chemical, oil and gas, food and mining.

His presentation will explain how process control cameras and light systems can improve reliability in a whole host of applications from particle characterisation for machine diagnostics through lubrication oil analysis through to centrifuge process control.
